Sample Recordings

Here you will find a collection of mp3 samples grouped by genre. The mp3s are only offered as variable bit rate, high quality for sonic reasons -- so they may be longer downloads for dial up connections. Each mp3 is about 8MB, but be patient, it’s worth it! If you can’t access them for any reason, please call 303.458.1800 and we will be happy to set up a tour. You can also check out our myspace page for lower quality (smaller) sound bytes.

Bands  //  Band Medley.mp3

These are all bands that have recorded at ConwaySound. Typically, we setup the full band and record together with instruments isolated so that anything can be overdubbed/replaced or edited later. The medley is about 30 seconds per song, ranging from blues to rock to funk and so on.

MCs  //  MC Medley.mp3

These tracks were all made here from start to finish. For MCs, there are 3 main options: 1. bring in a beat, either on CD or bring the synth. 2. Buy a pre-made beat from me. 3. Book time and make the beat together. Most of the tracks on the medley are option number 3 (and some number 2). Regardless, all beats were made in house and all keyboards and drum programming was done by Ryan Conway.

Here are some examples of what we can do with solo artists. There are both the basic guitar/vocal tracks as well as some ideas that are more developed. Keep in mind that if you are interested in assembling something more than what you came in with (e.g. adding strings, drums, percussion, etc.), it will be important that you have practiced and are comfortable with a metronome. Most of the piano work is Ryan Conway and all drum programming, etc. is done by Ryan.
